Weekly settlements
How the weekly close works for rental fleets: the driver ledger, opening and closing balances, statements and SEPA.
A weekly settlement is the closing of a driver’s account for one week, Monday to Sunday. It adds up platform earnings, rent, fuel, tolls, charging, fines, payments and adjustments, and produces the amount to pay or to collect.
The ledger
Every movement is a signed line on the driver’s ledger, with its source (connector, workflow, automation or manual) and date. The balance is always the sum of the lines, so it reconciles by construction.
Closing the week
- The week waits until every connector has synced.
- Closing freezes the period and records opening and closing balances.
- A PDF statement is generated for each driver.
- Payments go out in a SEPA bank batch; receipts are issued, including recibo verde in Portugal.
