Vehicle inspections
Check-in, check-out, check-up and workshop inspections, and the living damage inventory of every car.
An inspection is a snapshot of a car at a moment in time: a checklist, damage marked on a diagram of the car, photos, mileage and, when needed, signatures. Bugama runs inspections at every handover so changes are visible and attributable.
Types of inspection
- Check-in: when a car joins the fleet or a driver returns it.
- Check-out: when a driver takes a car.
- Check-up: periodic review during operation.
- Workshop entry and exit: before and after a repair.
The damage inventory
Each car keeps a list of open and repaired damage. The next inspection starts from that list, so the inspector only marks what is new. Completing an inspection with new damage opens a damage report automatically.
